...Since my last car accident
The roads were wet tonight. I stopped at a turning lane and skidded a bit... The car behind me skidded a lot and ploughed into the back of me. The rear bar is rooted, the lights seem ok, I'll take pictures of the carnage tomorrow. Still shaking a bit

sounds rough, hopefully not too much damage.
Sometimes we over-estimate the effectiveness of brakes in the wet.

Its the tyres loosing grip in the wet, brakes should be a smaller factor here.
Sorry to hear that...i skidded a few times and i didnt like it.

i think ppl in melb forget how to drive in the wet, there was a woman in a barina driving up every single persons ass on nepean n i mean not even a body length between her n the car in front.
make their insurance fix other things, claim that the crunch rippled to that huge dent u have on the side of the car thats rusted over.. lol
