Dual exhaust set up help....

Post by KLRFTO »

im in the middle of installig a new rear bar.....car mate CM4 II i think, and i want the exhausts comming out the crazy aggressive holes at the far sides of the bar, now since ive done all the work on my FTO myself and with a mate who is handy with bodywork and is teaching me how to respray it etc i was gunna do a custom exhaust tip arangement but i wanted to see if anyone has got this rear bar and what set up for the exhaust you's have used as the stock exhaust needs modifying if i was gunna re use it but i thought to go with the aggressive curvy stance im going for two nice tips comming out the back either side would just make it look so much better and sound a little sportier, does any company make a dual side exhaust for a FTO or is it a custom job? i was thinking about finding a 350z exhaust and modifying it to suit, i know trust makes a nice stainless dual exit but id like to know it would fit before investing in one.

any help and feed back would be greatly appreciated before i have to take a visit to the exhaust shop and tell them what i want

cheers
Gotta love the look on the bogan v8 drivers faces when they hear the scream of 7500rpm mivec slaying there puny 5 litre paper weights with twice the power, yeah thats a FTO

Are you looking at changing the whole exhaust system or just the tip to make it look better ?

is this the bar your talking about mate?

it depends if you want cannons on the end or tips, if you want tips you have to weld on another pipe coming off the muffler like this and bend it around to the left side

here is alekazam's setup

if it were me i would put four big oval tips through each hole haha ;)
