white smoke

started the car this mornin and saw some white smoke comin out from the exhaust
and the smokes gone a couple of minutes later...
is this normal...??

are you sure its smoke and not steam? my cars always have steam out the exhaust on cold mornings.

um...im not sure...but i think its steam...so its fine i guess..thanks anyway

lol the white smoke is actually mist, it is formed as warm air mixes with cold air, creating water vapour. very common for cold engines and when humidty is high. however if it happens during a warm day then it could be that your head gasket is cracked. anyways 99.9% sure its mist, so its all good!
