does anyone know about installing oil pressure gauges and/or oil temperature gauges?
im just wondering if anyone knows if there are any unused plugged threaded holes in the cylinder head or sump where you can attach these to. otherwise what other options are there to fit these gauges?

Most people install the oil temperature gauge into the sump via a threaded adapter insted of the sump plug, then you have to fiddle with it every oil change.
I personally have no idea of any special threds for the gauge in the cylinder head. But I heard from a mechanic that the best place for oil temp gauge is in the sump, due to the fact that the cylinder heads measurment will be slightly diffrent i think...
Some ppl like Richard from FTO WA, have it welded into the sump, but my problem with that is what happens if the sensor breaks.

As for the pressure gauge, I don't have one, but from what I have read, installing this might be a bit more complex then the temp gauge... I would like to know if anyone has done this too...
If you want to replace your clock or your volt meter, then you need to get 52mm gauges from memory.

Well, actually it's a threaded bolt hole bit welded into the sump. The sensor is then screwed into the hole like normal.
It just doesn't get used as a sump plug, so it never gets knocked about.

thanks for the help guys! thats sort of what i figured, that i would have to mount a sensor in the sump somewhere, i was just hoping there was already a mount for one.
but does anyone know where to mount the oil pressure gauge? i would find this gauge more useful. i assume a sensor would have to be mounted in the cylinder head main oil gallery, but i would hate to have a hole drilled there just to fit one.
