You're right, there are sites that quote 147kw at the crank, even an old Ralliart one (that isn't up any more) but Mitsi themselves always say 150 kw

IMO that car isn't worth ~$19k

Sure it is a GPX, but it has 102,000 k's, which I think is too high to justify that price. Scissor doors are great, sure, but I have only heard of one good kit (the one Umm sells on here).

My suggestion is to keep an eye on this site, there are always good priced ones turning up on here from members, and you can be sure they have been well looked after.

Just look at what Mr. Charisma picked up for the same (apparently) price! FTO with 6A13tt engine running a big f**k off "I will eat your small children and chihuaua's" GT 35/40!

There are bargains to be had, I don't think that car is one of them!

^^^^^^^ Agreed, way to steep IMO,
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Well, as far as we are concerned, you are already a member. Don't rush into the purchase even at that price. If you absolutely "MUST HAVE IT!!!" then see if you can take another member along with you to check it out :)

Good luck and a proper WTTC from me 8)

Honestly mate, if I was in Sydney, I would offer you my FTO in a heartbeat for $16.5k (and I guarantee you can do all the cosmetic BS on that car cheaper than you can do an engine conversion), I honestly think you should hold off. Something better will come up!

Agree with above sentiment.

Its just a stock FTO with a Veilside kit, cheap chromies, scissor doors & dopey bloody cannon exhaust. Guy thinks he can make his mod money back

Check this out clicky, you could pick this up for about $10k I think. 5spd GPX. Less K's too. Nice wheels already (chromies add nothing of value to a car IMO).

Add the Scissor Doors from Umm on here for ~$3k and a VS style kit for ~$650 + fitting and painting (maybe $1k) and you have a lower car IMO better too for less than $15k. Personalised to your own tastes too.

That is grossly simplified on a car on first page of searching. You could do so much more if you got a cheaper one too.

Up to you though mate :)

LOL I wouldn't recommend that exact car that you have shown FTEvolution (lol...rust spots in roof 8O ).
However I agree with what you and most others are saying regarding the price. Way too steep IMO too.

Way too much ...

To think I was asking for as close to 15k for mine, which has taseful mods, coilovers, carbon front and rear ... WTF ... 19k ...

I also like how he has his number plate blocked out in one photo, but not the others... lol ..
I just had to add it ......

wtf. As if for that price.

Major cons:
1. No sideskirts (+$350 installation and respray)
2. Not a manual ( trust me you'll regret it)
3. Unknown brand of scissor doors, could be weak
4. Wheels are too small & chrome
5. Costs way too much for aesthetics
