Roll Cage

Post by Bennoz »

So has anyone in their travels come across a roll cage for the FTO?

I guess this is more for the people who trawl through Yahoo Jap etc. I've seen them on there before. Im looking for a half cage (rear half.)

If its too prices to import I might look at making one.

Yep, half cages are but full cages arent.

It will have to be certified to.

Yeah, half cage is legal for use on the road provided its padded. Full cage is not.

Im primarily putting it in as it both stiffens up the chassis & provides a CAMS legal spot to mount the rear straps of my harness.

With the racing harness and roll cage, you wouldn't be thinking of putting your beast into competitive racing and chopping the field now would you? Imagine the v8 brigade, sti and evo owners getting chopped by a little red fto :D :D
