Biggest I have ever seen on here

Tinkering for 3 hours is to make it LOOK like he knew what he was doing, because the owner was standing over him!

I didn't bother reading the entire thread, but I suppose you took it to a mechanic too right? Anything electronic, straight to an auto sparky. Never let a mechanic loose on electrics (and don't fool yourself, Idle problems are always electronic unless there is a leak somewhere, but you can fix that yourself), they just aren't the same field of expertise!
Alright, alright! Cut me some slack aye. I'm 17, it's my first car and I've got a shitload to learn. I'll be the first to admit that I know sh*t all about cars, but I'm keen as hell to learn, so you can tell me when I'm wrong or when my mechanic clearly doesn't know what he is doing, but try and do it a little more tactfully lol.

At least he didn't try to charge me forthe 3 hours of labour...

Sorry fella, hasn't been a good day from the start (my bad)

Where you located? Close to any other members? I am sure they would have had a look at it for you, given you some pointers and taught you about the car.

You will never learn from just watching a mechanic, bad ones will BS you all the way through, and good ones are far too fast to bother telling you what's going on.

Yea I read what happened in the other thread. It's cool, don't worry :)

I don't really live close by to anyone, they are all in Brizzy or the the Goldy. Hence why I asked Simon to take a look when I head down there to pick up some stuff from him, but he didn't reply.

Kahael, I have a weekend off in a week or two. Maybe you could come up and Garth and I could spend a bit of time taking a look at it?

We could try cleaning your stepper motor or switching it around with one of ours and seeing if it makes any improvement.

Anyways, I'll let you know.
