Seals

Ok, I've searched already and can't find anything too helpful... Anywho, halfmoon seals. If you get a leak from these/this how serious is it? Obviously it'll affect your oil levels eventually, but what if it's only 1 or 2 drips every few days or so? Thinking something like this would best to wait a yr until major service is due. Also, what am I expected to pay to get these changed/fixed? ??

Yeah, if it's not a bad leak it could probably wait a year or more.. just keep an eye on how much it is leaking & check oil levels regularly enough..

It's best to get these done all at once with timing belt, water pump, tappets & any other seals etc that need to be fixed..

Can plug the leak with some automotive sealant if you like.

Since I started this thread I have another question. Are the power steering boots the same as a hj galant? Having trouble cross referencing this part cause nobody seems to have it

LOL, guess we'll find out. Nah it looks the same hey. Universal brand to fit a hj galant. I can post up the part number though when I get home at 10pm
