Clutch Has Gone
Hi All my MITS*@TY Fto has just done the clutch.
It has been slipping for a while but driving home last night i heard a banging noise.
When The car is on and i can change gears without even pressing the clutch in. and of course it wont drive anywhere.
Another thing is the car is now overheating. When car is turned off after i drove it to work (30Mins) the previous morning the overflow bottle is bubbling.
Would the Slave & master cylinders need replacing & a clutch kit? What sort of clutch should i buy ?(A heavier duty)
Thanks all

I'd guess so though I haven't heard of anyone having one.
Exedy seems to be the popular upgrade:

For similar money from what I understand, you should be able to order it from any local autobarn or performance shop.
I just found this if it helps:

geez has anyone heard of ebay?? http://myworld.ebay.com.au/brakesclutch ... X:SELLERID
Open an ebay account if you don't have one and send a msg to this seller. Was quoted the following prices (not including postage but to brisbane was $25)
7277 - Exedy standard - $260
7277Heavy Duty - $340.00
7277Sports organic - $475.00
There may be some other members who can get trade discount on these clutches. Goodluck mate. Finding someone who can install it for a decent price is another story

MKB-6429-HD. That RPW semi ceramic would be a c**t to use in everyday traffic, leg muscles required.
