GRRRR ... Not Happy Jan !!!!

Post by rock_it »

So anyway, driving down to the Gong yesterday to drop off the rear bar, and get the quote started on the repair job ....

Beaver panel has taken a bit of a hit, so it is not just a simple rear bar and reo job ... Grrrr, but the worse was ... Driving down there... Just a little bit from home... And I hear this loud POP, and then BANG ... This was as I was slowing down at a set of lights... First thought was that it was the drive shaft ... but the car still went, so I continued on my journey ...

Get to 1 corner before the work shop, to make a turn, and hear the dreaded knock .. Bloody CV ... So get to the workshop, and look at the inside of the mags... Grease all there... So gotta get the CV's, and a sterring boot replaced... + add to this the clutch, that I want to replace too .... All while rego, insurance and green slip are due....

Yep I know ...

Have just given $400 to have my GSR/Evo project engineered too ... So will have rego, insurance + Green slip on that one too ... But I think I have 3 months after the blue slip, so that should give me some time to save.... Praying for a good Christmas bonus at work ... :?
