fog lights
hey guys,
does anyone know how the fog lights work in an fto... I thought 1 of my fogies was gone so when i pulled it out to see what globe i needed i found out that it only has 2 globes in it... the parker and the blinker... does the blinker just go into high beam or something when the fog lights are turned on or is there a separate globe for them??

There is a seperate globe and pod for this should be an HB3 from my understanding though not all FTO's came with the fog light bulbs or pods in the cluster...... When I first got mine it had no bulbs either but did have the pods when you do get them in keep a close eye on the fog light switch as it has a tendancy to burn out (common fault on these cars) hope that helps mate

^ Yeah, looks like yours didn't come with foglights. You'll just have the Parker (T10 wedge) and the indicator bulb.
The Parkers comes on with the first click of the light switch. That's it. No high beam setting.
If you had the foglight type from factory, you'd have had a 3rd bulb (H3). This would be turned on with the foglight switch next to the steering wheel.

thats Grue that would be good.
I know for a fact that i have foglights. my parkers turn on with the headlights... when i press the foglight switch, my left "parker" get brighter (as a fog light) and my right 1 doesnt change... like the globe is bust or something. but theres no globe that i can find haha

Either that or an unscrupulous FTO owner needed a foglight one, and swapped yours out one night with his non-foglight pod
Would you really use Foglights that much anyway? They're not cheap, but if you REALLY wanted them to match then you could always pm DStocks.

Pretty much! The parker's further over in the non-foglight pod - where the foglight would have been.payaya wrote:How can you not have fog lights???? So your telling me some FTOS have the fog light part in the housing but no hole to put in a globe???
Some pods came with fogs, some didn't. Was an option from factory I guess, like the rear wiper.
