Yeah they're actually the 1st place I called (Wholesale Suspension), since they replaced my drop links. Quote was a bit high for my liking ($400). Will keep looking until next week for somewhere cheaper.
If you're not going to the track often (like it happens to be the case with me), then you should go for something softer with spring rates. I had Teins with apparently Japanese spec and it was a bit too bumpy for my liking. From what I'm told the Australian version gets re-done for our conditions.
At the moment I have K-Sport coilovers and asked for 7kg/mm front and 5.5 rear. Now I have no idea if that's what I got, but I know that the car was not drivable on anything but the M7. Had to get them redone. I guess you can use that as a general guide. The K-Sport was $200 more than the Tein SS but Tein seem to have a better reputation.
If price is an issue there's a set of K-Sports at around $150 less (last time I called), than the Teins at
www.rpw.com.au. For something mega cheap check out
