HID help..

Post by Valandis91 »

so i was putting in my 8000 k HIDS yesterday and did the first side and it worked fine then did the other and was working then after a few seconds (it varies) the second side i did turns itself off... if i turn them off and turn them back on the same thing happens.
i checked all the wiring and everything was fine
anyone got any ideas what it could be and why only the one side turns off?

Unplug the car's light connector (the one you took off the regular bulbs) and blow and re plug (LOL). Seriously though, I had the same problem with mine at first but it's all good now. Unplug and put back in with some pressure and it should work.

not sure about other hid kits but simon's from the group buy are a simple plug and play job. No wire splicing required. In that case i've got no idea buddy. Sorry
