ecu do i have to change it
hey guys when i change my transmission from tip to manual do i have to change the ecu or do i have to change the transmission ecu is that just plug in the new one and take the old one out

Nah, the ends that go into the gearbox are different. You can just change those bits, or you can get replacement drive shafts.
I might have the long driveshaft sitting in my shed down the coast. Ill have a bit of a look on the weekend when im up there.

Its called a Thrust Race Bearing, or Push Out Bearing. Will come with your clutch kit. Never use second hand thrust bearings.nvr2low wrote:ok so i can get a flywheel from panel house and the nuts for the pressure plate which should come with my clutch right?

The only wiring that needs to be done is on the original gearbox loom (large black plug). You need to join the two bigger wires (black with yellow stripe and black with red stripe) together to fool the ECU into thinking its in park. And also you will need to wire in the reverse sensor to the red with blue stripe and black with yellow stripe (small wires), these are positioned next to each other.
