unsure what to do..

Hi...I recently took apart all my interior and took off all the panels on teh inside to get to the subframe that touches the roof(frame). Now when i took off my A pillar (drivers sidde) i found a little black wire (black insulation that is) and it was onl abou 2--3mm diamater and it had a bit of copper exposed at the end.. Now im unsure where its from or what it does....Is it safer to just electrical tape it and just leave or would it be safer to gorund it??since its black i assumed its a grouding wire...but theres no solder on it or anything so unsure how they kept it in place.....what should i do?

could be from a hands free car kit that someone may have previously installed that is logical place for microphone

or trace wire back and see where itr goes

Tape it mate. Youll soon find out if it runs something you need. I doubt it though, there havent been any wires grounded in the pillar on any of the cars ive pulled apart.

Anything has to be better then FF3 ... I could not stand that guys accent ... Grr ...

We use to joke that FF4 would be about FWD cars ... We use to say it would be with Hyundai's and be called Seoul Slide ... With a group of Korean's trying to drift in FWD ...
