Post by harry90 »

Jono, good joke !

Yano, i checked the one in technical, but i dont really wanna have to buy one off ebay, baseically because of tte fact that i cant see what it looks like on the car, or how it sounds (but im pretty sure that one sounds sweet)....i was thinking if someone had one for sale, or knew any GOOD places to buy from....obviously everyone is gonna reply now saying to go to an exhaust specialist, but i want a good one in nsw if no one has one for sale.

one more thing...when putting the cannon on, does the muffler on the car need to taken off ? or does the muffler stay and then pipe it up to the cannon ? i dont really know how it works... also, is the one previously posted any good ?

i reckon it looks really dodgy. kind of like someone got some sheetmetal and bent it nd wrpped it aroundtwo circular outlets. Seeing as you want a nice deep sound it would suffice but performance wise, youre not getting too much. Why not get a full catback? I have an N1 Evo ctback on order whihc should be arriving any day now. set me bck quite a bit though. Shift performance cn get you one. Just google them. Nice guys

If you want a deep sound, don't buy a cannon style muffler full stop. Get a proper high flow muffler & pick & choose your own tip(s) for it..

Was gonna say 'hotdog' or resonator is a must for the deep rumble. Lots of folk cheap out & plumb the pipe straight into the Canon & wonder why they are continually being pulled over & canaried.
