hi guys.
first up, i'm sorta newb on FTO's, and i've been searching websites about FTO's but couldn't find many useful ones.
anyways, my question is
"What are the differences between a GPX and a GPvR"
i know the obvious differences like the seats, and the power folding mirrors and digital aircon etc, but are there any differences between the two performance wise?
as in, are the engine compression ratios any different,
how much lighter is the version R as compared to the GPX?
is the suspensions on the gpvr any different to the gpx - is it stiffer/softer etc
gpvr - is there any anti-roll?
okay now....my gpvr compared to other gpvr:
its an import ( i think they all are) anyway
i dont have ABS, is it supposed to?
i dont have electronic stability management ( i read somewhere its supposed to)
umm, and my car tends to understeer a lot in fast corners...i have adjustable suspensions and stuff btw...just wondering whether it was just me or not .__."
thanks for any answers guys!
performance ---- the specifications with the GPvR ???

The performance spec for the GPX and GPvr are pretty much the same. The possible exception to this is the that the Version R Aero in later models has a slightly higher power density. Dont know if this makes any difference or is maybe a typo, but there you are. GPvR does have the LSD and this makes a significant difference in the wet and with respect to cornering.
Version R is slightly lighter and the manual is lighter than the auto. No FTO has Electronic Stability Control, but some do have traction control as an option. ABS was an option on some Version R's, but later madels it came standard I think. All FTO's are imports, so no difference there unless you happen to get a hold of a UK ralliart one (which is unlikely) which has a couple of ralliart bits added to it (no engine mods though I dont think)
I think that covers most of what you were asking.

if you dont want it to oversteer around corners, keep the nose down (let off the accelerator slightly) and find the 50/50 balance point between front and rear.
if you keep holding the throttle down around a corner, the foward momentum takes the weight off the front tyres, thus losing grip.
you should take it to a track meet to find this properly

Racing in a VL is like being in the Special Olympics, coz even if you win, you're still a RETARD
