Spoiler holes filled

Post by RK1-WhiteKnight »

Whats the typical price to get the holes filled and painted after the spoilers been removed? I'm sick of it vibrating from the subs, I've tried a couple of things to stop it to no avail so I'm just gonna take it off. Quotes so far have been between 450 and 600 bucks NZ, which seems a little steep to me

All my quotes were around the $220-$280 mark, for both hole filling and painting... so yeah... little steap!

AGREED
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

EVERYONE'S related to everyone else round here... It's not quite playing the banjo in a rocking chair out on the deck, spiting tobacco through you're only 2 teeth, but it's close.

And you hardly ever see a pig in a dress.

Lock removed? I'm intreaged. Got any pics???

I think I might ask around a bit more. I'm removing the thing myself to try and salvage as much of the dynamat that's on there as possible

I just picked up a second hand bootlid and did this myself. Instead of welding, cos I'm crap at it, I used fibreglass matting on the inside to cover the holes and to keep them water tight, then filled it in with filler, smoothed and painted.

No holes at all.

(But my spray gun decided to get half way through the spraying process then dump all the remaining primer on a spot in the middle of the boot  , so now I've got to start again)

It does look good without the lock but it looks like a mission to get at now that I've got the dynamat on it

All they have to do is bog up the holes and paint it, its not a big job so I don't know why they said it would cost so much

Is it possible to get plugs for these things in case the spoiler needs to be fixed again?

You can jimmy something up, but IMHO looks tacky
