Purchasing a car interstate

Hey,

As most of you are probably aware im in the process of buying a car from NSW, Im trying to work out how to pay for the vehicle without something dogey happening.

So has anyone done this before ? is there a company that does the handover and can sign rego forms etc on my behalf and hand the cheque over to the seller ?

All I can say is make sure you get the car inspected 1st, I almost bought a lemon from interstate, was about to buy plane tickets to go up there and drive it down
