hay guys, i have had a search through the posts but couldnt find a proper answer so,
i am gonna be getting 18's soon and am lowering it also, i am just going to get the king springs off ebay for $250 which will give me a 35mm drop, will it scrub at all if the tyres are 225/35/18 and do i need a Camber kit.

Hey mate i have 18's on mine, and the same tyre size and have my car sitting way lower than what the king springs lowered my car and i get no rubbing at all, you will be fine. Simply, you dont need a camber kit but if you have the money then coilovers are well worth it, mine cost me $1400 and are one of the best upgrades i have done to my car

they probably rub because the tyres are too wide...i had this prob with 19's and never had them on in the end because they rubbed on the shield.REDDERthanyours wrote:my 17's rub on the plastic shield when turning - no doubt yours will too...

agreed but also having 45 can cause rubbing, many things will come into play. Can also depend on how low your car is, how much negative camber you are running with, etc etc
