The freaky thing is, we're not really that far off achieving this kind of realism in games.. I was blown away when I first played HL2 & now it seems blocky compared to some newer games..

I'd be interested to see what they could come up with if all the games companies pooled their efforts & funds into creating a massive engine that they could use as the basis for all their games..
