For Sale - Field SFC-MIVEC Engine/Fuel Controller

Post by snowdrift77 »

Up for sale - Field SFC-VTEC YO!!!!!/MIVEC Engine/Fuel Controller

Great all in one controller, has everything you need in the one package. Can alter MIVEC point, remove speed limiter, change fuel ratios, digital speedo display and works with tuned computers. Best controller for mivec/VTEC YO!!!!! Ive ever seen IMHO.
Here is the PR description.

The SFC VTEC YO!!!!! modifies the fuel curve as well as being a VTEC YO!!!!! controller. Designed for Honda's VTEC YO!!!!! and Mitsubishi's MIVEC. By modifying the MAP (Air Flow) sensor signal, it fools the ECU to richen or lean out the air/fuel mixture at various rpm points. As a MIVEC controller the MIVEC kick-in point can be changed to suit your driving conditions. Also works as shift indicator by emitting a beep at a user presettable rpm point and also as a speedometer (km/h) and a speed limiter bypass (for 180km/h limited Japanese ECU's).

Features of the Field SFC-MIVEC/VTEC YO!!!!! Controller:
1/4 DIN Size
MIVEC Controller allows setting of MIVEC transition point anywhere from 2000 to 8500 rpms, with 100 rpm resolution
8-Step Simple Fuel Controller allows ±30% adjustment of fuel delivery (with 1% resolution) at 1000 rpm increments from 1000-8000 rpms
Realtime RPM display
Realtime vehicle speed display (km/hr)
Adjustable RPM alert (shift warning)
Speed Limiter Bypass

Basic Operating Instructions
The buttons - There are 3 important buttons - the mode select button, and the two arrow buttons.
The Operating Modes

You have 3 modes for the SFC-MIVEC display:
1. SFC - simple fuel control - display shows realtime fuel % vs rpm
2. VTC - VTEC YO!!!!!/MIVEC controller - display shows realtime RPMS
3. Speed - realtime speed in km/hr

Here is a link to the Field website that completely explains all its features.

Yeah, I think I will just use it as the speed cut ... I don't really want to muck around with the Mivec point...

When I get some time sprare, I may throw it on the Dyno and have a bit of a play and see if it makes any difference...

If you can't sell the controller, i would be keen on buying just the harness off you.
