Pretty sure Msbchi meant a fine Wet&Dry, and then give them a cut and a polish - like in the Headlight Delaminating DIY... not Grade-40 sandpaper

If you can't dazzle them with dexterity, baffle them with bull...

why go through all that when its just translucent paint? any petrol based product breaks Nightshade down. no need to sand or cut and polish.

Mine had been tinted for about 18 months... and turps wouldnt budge it....
Had to use wet'n'dry soaked in turps...
was a prick of a job...

guess it depends on how thick its applied then. i got the tint off my lenses when i wanted to redo them a different way.
