changing grill mesh (56k no)

Post by ftokiwi »

more of a "if i can do it anyone can" thread. I used the info on the DIY forum to change the grill mesh. to be honest it was MUCH easier than i thought it would be. Thanks for posting the DIY's

Job really was easy- took about 2 hours because im a gonad. could do it in under an hour now i know what im doing. looks much better than painting it (what i was considering doing)

UPDATE on wifey's car-
her car got creamed by a taxi who "didnt see her stopped at the intersection" 8O
insurance will pay but we will have to wait a few weeks to get the panel beater we want. (she is heart broken)
thinking seriously about taking the rear spoiler off- seen one here (NZ). really liked the look! thoughts?
gona start sound deadening next week with view to having ice in by the end of April.

Nice! Makes a huge difference doesn't it. 8)

I really wasn't sure about whipping my spoiler off either, bit really happy I did it now. FTO's arn't exactly rare over here are they, so does make them stand out a bit more. Just wish I'd had them take the boot lock off at the same time...
