Spark Plug seals

how do you know if a spark plug seal needs changing?Can you tell by looking at it?mitsubishi want 16bux a seal anyone know where to get em cheaper.Or should i just not change em at all?

Easy, pull your plugs out. If they have any oil or oil residue on them, then the seals need changing. Not something thats all that common to need replacing thou.... Only way they wear is if the rocker cover has been pulled on & off a heap of times, or if the motor has been over heated heaps.
