Hello

Post by Jesky »

Hey all nice to meet you ;)

My mrs just purchased an FTO and we thought we would join up here so we can keep up on the times with these cars ;) My names Jesse and mrs is Kylie, we live in goulburn NSW.

She got a fresh import with 51,00k's showing on clock and the car is so clean in and out i have no doubt the k's are original! it also has a momo steering wheel wich i spotted on another one earlier, were these a factory option??

I have a couple more questions to,

the LCD screen that shows the climate control settings in this one is only half lit? is this just how they are or is there a light out? and is that easy to fix?

q2, i noticed the inside of the front wheels were worn marginally more then the outside.. what would be the most likely cause for this on the fto? is that common and what should i use to rectify? would a camber kit be in order?

If theres anything else i should know upon buying a new fto and you feel like using fto guru knowledge on me feel free in a matter of fact that would be cool ;)

Cheers n regards
Jes and Kye

The whole climate control screen should light up, replacing the bulb is a bit tricky.
LED ALL the things.

Climate control

Post by dstocks »

Yep, sounds like you have a bulb out on the climate control and you should get a wheel alignment done to fix your tyre wear problem. If the momo wheel has is an airbag wheel then it is a factory option. Mitsubishi had a deal with momo for the post 97 fto's. Not all ftos have airbags though, hence the reason why you only see it on some.
