I used to like the old diskette drive bomb. Open up an old 3 & 1/2" floppy, sprinkle some match head dust over the disc surface, then coat with clear nail polish & reassemble. As soon as its inserted into the machine & trys to be read, boom!! Mini disk explosion & PC fire

Don't forget sub7.

Anyway as for revenge... you'll probably end up attacking another innocent victim who has had their pc infected by a trojan. Pretty hard to verify for sure...

As for why the attacks continue, a lot of attackers just port scan masive ip ranges... regularly. As such you'll get a tonne of attempts at your pc via various ports and such.

Used to get them quite regularly on optus cable, every day without fail from a lot of different places. Don't seem to on iinet atm but I'm sure they're not far away heh

Would get in a hell of a lot more strife having that doc on your pc these days. We used to have such great times with home made fun ... massive roman candles and things that went boom heh.

How times change. 8O

Still, we could done ourselves some serious self injury doing what we did... we weren't quite darwin awards however ;)

sorry mate, will see if I can some up my comment in 3 words instead of 3 sentences ... mmmm ... "Don't be stupid" .. yep that just about does it

I don't know how you made a link to that bizarre comparison.. but anyways, in the tradition of bizarre comparisons... You wouldn't leave your car outside, with the door open, keys in the ignition & then invite a known car thief around for tea & crumpets would you?

That's what you're doing if you download & open a file with a virus & don't have a good antivirus
