Post by FTOnick »

My rear window (drivers side) rattles when i drive... is this just a loose screw? Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

If its the in the rear glass area, itll be the parcel shelf. If its beneath the small triangular window, itll be the metal clips that hold the plastic panels next to the rear seats in. If it is the door windows, itll be the window guides.

I had that when I first bought my car. Its a tem minute fix.

Takes of the plastic panel under the window and tighet the screws in the top hat section. The screw on mine had fallen out completely and was lying at the bottom of the plastic panel.

This guide will take you through it:

The offending clip is usually the one in the centre of the dished part. The clip itself rattles in the slot it clips into. I just lined the edges of the slot with a good thick tape. Thats eems to have done the trick for now.
