any car that takes the HB4 globe you should be able to get it to fit the FTO. Also the HB4 stock is 50-55 watts I think so obviously 80 is too high.

yeah I know you prob can get 100W, but the FTO wires are not designed for 70W you will keep melting the pulb screw the wires.

^^ What he said.

Get an electrician to upgrade your wiring to your lights if you want to use high wattage lights. They draw more power than stock, as a consequence the wires get too hot, and melt. If you increase the diameter of the wiring it can handle more watts and won't melt.

could that also effect my bulbs burning out quickly. cause my bulbs seriously only last like 6-8 months. Im thinking of upgrading to hid kit should this stop the problem (eg does a hid kit contain new wiring?

stock fto headlight globes are HB4 at 12v 55w
HID are only 35w and is way brighter
i say jus get an HID kit.

with the melted rubber ring jus get the cheapest one. i rkn the place who quoted u 200 bucks is jus try`n to make some money off ya.
im sure all rubber rings do the job.

also try find the fault on how come it melted. it can b heaps of stuff.

I had that issue, did you put electrical grease before you put the bulb?.. most likely thats why they fried..
To get a mitsu part they will quote 75 per bulb holder, i ordered for an online shop for 5 buck each and they worked great until i changed them to HID.

The website is http://www.suvlights.com/.
Its in the states but i got the sets i needed for less that 20 bucks australian
