the roof is different on FTOs with a sunroof, they dont have the indent running thru the middle. so putting a sunroof in is harder(so i've read on this site), but not impossible.

So you would have to change the whole roof to be able to put the sunroof in ?

Sounds like a huge and expensive job.

You cant put a sunroof in an FTO that didnt have a sunroof originally. End of story.

Well who ever gave you the idea to change the whole roof is on drugs, first of all you can't just cut the roof, you have to cut down from the bottom side of A pillar and C pillar, so basically your chassis will be weaken and you also have to respray almost the whole car to match too.

Normally this kind of things happen to so call dodgy version of "repairable write off". Not a wise move.

Anyway i'm suprise no one post up the pass threads on this topic (aka do a search :P ) and if you lucky people won't notice all the re-welding points of A and C pillar.

dont do it!.... LOL

it sounds like a really really tough
if your FTO didng come with a stock sunroof dont worry about it!!!
my mate got it done to his lancer and hes having all these problems with it! including water leakage, wiring etc etc

not to mention it looks really sh*t inside hahaha

its going to cost you too much time and pain and money
