stage one 2 grand

Post by maximus »

just wondering guys or gals, if u guys had $2000 to spend on a stock manual gpx what would u spend it on. Performance wise dat is. All on Air, exhaust extractors, what would be most rewarding and not to expensive as i have a buget for performance aspect of my modding phase. Which is the best way to go. I would like to notice a difference in power after mods.

definitely an exhaust system and pod air filter... you will definitely feel the on-road improvements, plus it sounds oh-so-horny with an aftermarket exhaust system... :D

for the exhaust system you don't wanna go any larger than 2.5" for the cat back or you will lose plenty of torque in the low-mid rpm... i'm not sure about the CAI kit from UAS but a pod filter alone will set it off nicely.

brand wise, well it all comes down to what you can afford or how important brand-names are to you... frankly it shouldn't matter what brand you opt for, just make sure the workmanship is top-notch (which you get with Jap brands like 5-zigen / HKS / Apex'i but you will pay for it).
