As stated... want alternator... Has to be Mivec...

Hey ben or someone who has a clue...

Michaels alternator mivec wont kick in... So it needs to be fixed...

He bought my alternator off my old engine (which i shouldnt have sold if i knew i'd be needing it), and so has his old one spare...

How much would it be worth? (Will pay sparky to fix it)

Depends on what needs fixing, it could be a couple hundy and if it can't be fixed then you need to buy one that does.

you reckon $100 for his is fair? it was reco'd a couple of years ago... but something in the mivec system is rooted...
