LOL no idea, cheap HID plus DIY, i don't like your friend chances.

But yeah it would be interesting to see how long they last.

I had a cheap set in the FTO and an even cheaper set in the GTO now. Can't fault em and for hundred bucks give or take I don't care if they last a year or so.

When I got mine from ebay they were not that cheap, but they were the cheapest at the time.

Had them for 2 years now, no problems at all.

To be honest, as long as the device actually works I think they are all they same really.

I just always think ... "Good a no cheap, and cheap a no good" ... The old Italian saying... hehehehe ... My mates Dad use to say this all the time ... It was his catch phrase ...

that saying has always been true. But there's really some good and cheap one out there but dat's like 1 out of 100.

This is the kit I had in the FTO, bought in February 2006 and was working perfectly when I sold the FTO 2 months ago.

This is the kit in the GTO IMO looks better on the road than the other one I had but has only been in for 2 months so hasn't passed the time test yet. But they were cheap as so I couldn't care less
