DBA Brakes

Post by JOeJOe »

I was browsing the internet for places where I can buy new set of rotors, i found a site from the US that sells them

The price for the DBA 4000 series is $125US which works out to be about $140AUS. I've been quoted around $220-$250 for one of these babies in Oz. Anyone know much about customs duty and fees?

Would it cost more then $60 to ship them from the US to oz?

The DBA 425x which is the standard drilled/slotted are $95US each

Only problem is freight. I had some rotors sent over from the UK & because of the weight of them, the freight was massive.

Better off buying them here thru Autobarn or Auto One

Got a reply

Thank you for your interest in BuyBrakes.com. We regret to inform you that,
at this time, we are not set up to ship internationally. This is due to
the prohibitive cost of shipping for the items we sell, duties and taxes
issues, as well as the difficulty in verifying credit card information for
banks outside of the continental U.S. However, our overseas customers will
often place orders with us for delivery to a friend or relative in the U.S.,
and then have the items shipped on to them from there.

Anyone have relatives in the US? :D
