tightening the hand brakes

does anyone know how to tighten the hand breaks??

I think my hand break is uneven, on one side (Drivers) is tight, but the another side is loose..

is that job easy to do and anyone know the tool require to do this?

the handbrake is easy enough to get to, just use a screw driver inside the center console, undo the screws and take the whloe center console out leaveing the handbrake exposed. i think its easy enough to tighten from there.

however i havent done this before and i think when your messing with a major saftey component of the car you should have it professionaly looked at. just my 2 cents
