Folks, the avatar upload service on this site is not working (on my list of things to fix) so you have to host it offsite - imageshack or equivalent, then copy the link into your profile where it says 'offsite avatar'

This site will resize the avatar to the standard size, but that facility is also a little dodgy at the moment. If you resize it yourself to 172 x 125, then upload it to imageshack, its got a much better chance of working.
