Battery exploded

Post by eThix »

Ok, the problem started when i was just about to drive onto the high way,
my car got stuck in 3rd, and have almost no power... i would try change gears manually but it wouldn't change.
so pulled over and turned off my car, started checking my car.... all seemed fine i would turn the car back on and it felt like the car was struggling to stay on (bouncing) so i just quickly went home.
but by the time i got home i had smoke in the car and coming out of the bonnet, opened the hood and battery acid was all over the place.... boiling hot battery acid 8O

What's your budget? NRMA supplies cheapies.

You can get a century battery (same model as Honda CRV) for about $110.
