Standard Rotors -> Standard cross drilled rotors + grinding if enough people get togther.
This is a cheap way of adding a bit of sportiness to your FTo
Standard weight of each rotors (GPX) is approx 5kg. with cross drilling and grinding you will loose 200 - 250 grams per rotor.
All rotors are sand blasted and resprayed with high-temp silver finish to rid rust.
Cost will be between $40 - $55 per pair with the drill pattern of your choice.

U also running the higher risk of having your disc crack then the pre-drill disc though. But it is very cheap alternative.

The chances of cracking for normal street use is very low. Unless your on the race track belting it around the circuit at high speeds then yes you should worry.
The rotors main objective in life is to dissipate heat! That's all it does. The better the material that can absorb the heat (i.e. specific internal energy) then better your breaking will be.
Snother factor in braking is the ability for metal not to expand. If enough heat is absorbed into the rotor the disk will expand, and if cross drilled or standard will crack.
So what i'm saying is, don't worry about the disks cracking unless you plan to race it or b breaking from high speeds!

I was following the threads about the pistons and decided that I don't have that ind of money to splash around yet. If ya gonna do a job tlike that then you gotta spend a fair bit of cash otherwise it isn't worth the hassle!
I'll keep the boost to a minimum for now, hust to get the car working again and running 100% stable. In about 3 months i'll save up enough for a proper turbo upgrade, which may included going the forged pistons, rods, nitrided crank etc. So i can run a large amount of boost like you.
But for now, i'm just trying to install the halteck myself (Fingers crossed) and get this baby flying. Was even thinking about going the NOS route!?
