I wanted to have clear indicators on this car, and as no-one makes them or has done this before, I had to improvise a bit. Having spend many hours looking around car breakers yards, I found these indicator units from a smashed VW Lupo, they were £8 each, so I bought one, took it home and tried it (before bumper was painted). Almost a good fit, they just needed a few lugs removed.

The only draw back is that you have to attach them from the inside of the bumper, now with no brackets, this is a bit of a problem, I overcame this using fibreglass to attach the unit to the bumper, You can still reach under and change the bulbs, but the unit is fixed permanently
The Bulbs that come with the Lupo units are orange so, to keep the clear effect I purchased some Silver Vison Bulbs from Stonehouse Accessories

These Philips Silver Vision bulbs are a new bulb that is designed to be "invisible in clear lenses, yet orange when lit." This is accomplished thru a silver coating on the outside of the bulb. This silver coating allows us to have truly "clear" lenses (without the "egg-yolk" look). The bulbs are indeed orange when lit, and therefore are retain the "legality" of having orange blinkers and front corner lights.

Guess what, my series 2 front bumper hasn't arrived yet, it was ment to be a 2 month wait now I have been waiting over 3 months so I canceled my order and might spend the money now on a Emanage or something else.

I thought I could get one through work cheaper plus I wanted genuine, but I don't know I sorta put off the idea now, I want to do something else, right now I'm thinking of buying a 1UZ or 1JZ half cut for my 1989 GZ20 soarer, its my daily driver but it needs more power, my FTO is a lot more quicker than it, also thought about getting a 6A13 but a few people already done it and I think its a bit too much work sticking in a 4G63.
