Revamped Complete FTO

Post by dstocks »

OK, just to let everyone know that I have just released the new version of Complete FTO. While it may not appear to be very different from what you are used to seeing, there are a number of subtle changes that will allow me to add some significant new components in the near future. The downside to this is that some of your links may not operate properly anymore. I have done my best to redirect to the appropriate page, but cannot be sure that it will work 100% of the time.

The most important significant new feature just added is the VIN decoder. This will allow you to type in your chassis number and get info back on your car (yes, reverse engineered from CAPS). Further down the track, I plan to add the ability to populate history, kms etc against each car as well so that we can start to provide a service to new owners.

The chassis decoder is here:

http://www.completefto.com.au/modules/par ... p?mode=vin

It may take a little while to iron out the crinkles so please bear with me if there is the odd graphic missing. Oh and if anyone picks up a problem, would be great if they could let me know.

cheers

dstocks

    Thanks Dstocks.

    Confirmed genuine Version R.

Of the version R's built the same week as mine all are white except for one Passion Red and one Black. Wonder if this is pretty normal?

      Great job.

Is it possible to list all the part numbers associated with a particular chassis?

Distinct Possibility, but is hurting my head at the moment. Watch this space. Will keep you posted. Have managed to get part numbers, part number codes and part names, but yet to make the link with model numbers. Am hopeful, but may take a while to crack.
