I NEED A BONNET!

Post by Joey1987 »

I’m just after a stock FTO bonnet.

I would prefer if it was silver, but if not that’s ok I will just have it painted.

I live in Brisbane, so someone who lives here would be best.

Thanks

Jo

There's potential for a thread about anything on FTO Australia

yeah something bad happend to it, it's called hitting a tree! lol.

It's been straightend out so that it looks ok but it's not perfect and the car's going into be painted in a couple of weeks so i have to put a new bonnet on before that.

I'm going to go do a Night course at Tafe in Panel Beating & am after a bonnet that I can fix up / modify once I've learned how..

Could just get some dodgy scrap Holden panels or something from a wreckers to practice on, which I will probably do anyway, but I know I'd be more into it if it was for an FTO

yeah no worries you can have the bonnet if you want ( I remember you telling me that you are going to do a panel beating course now) I have a front bar too, but there's not that much wrong with it, we have gotten it pretty straight, but I suppose you could make it not straight, and then fix it ?

Any way I will just keep them in the shed, so after I get the new bonnet I will let you know and you can come and get them if you want.

Yep, and if they are off the drivers rear quarter, it would take a miracle to straighten them
