Rust free!! :)

Just successfully removed my roof lining today to check for rust - Thankyou DStocks for the DIY Article http://www.completefto.com.au/FTO_showcontent.asp?aid=341

Also found a few nuts/screws which were loose (loose nut that holds in the seatbelt mount :S ) and a few things that were rolling around in the little compartments and under the carpet on the back seat causing rattles, which will hopefully make my car a little quieter

Found $1.55 loose change in the back seat and boot!

Took the lining out of the boot, and gave it a clean, found a few other things that were causing rattles and clunks in the back.

Messed up my pinky finger - almost passed out from blood loss ... or it might have been the fricken heat!

Oh - And the reason I took it all out in the first place.... there was absolutely no rust at all - will be spraying it with rust prevention stuff anyways just as a precaution ...

Next I will have to remove the front seats to clean under there and in the gap between the seat and centre console ... Haven't found a guide on it yet, so I will take pics and make a DIY if anyone wants it?

Front seats are a piece of pi$$ to get out.
2 bolts, 2 nuts at the front and back of the seat, just need to slide the seat back or forward to get access to them.
The 2 at the back and one at the front have plastic covers over them, easily removed.
Watch out for the drivers side seat, there is a wire going to the seat belt clip in the seat itself for the seat belt light on the dash. There's a plug in between, so when the nuts n bolts are all undone, lift up the front of the seat, reach under and unplug it.

dont do it in a cramped garage as i found out lol, 1st time i took the passenger seat i got stuck in the door (literally, had to call someone to come hold the seat while i shifted positions so i didnt scratch anything lol)

oh and when u put the passenger seat back it's a little bit of annoying trying to line up the rails, best way is to line the 2 rails up when the seat is out, more room for u to scream and dance when u get your fingers caught.
