Ah well.... at least I can say I've been there done that. My poor little Ford hire car saw the bright side of 200 before it beeped incessantly and made me turn it off before it would go into gear again 8O

Not asking too much like no limit but if we have a 180km/h limit in sydney i'll be happy :D
The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.

Thats totally shite. I heard about that a few weeks ago and was shattered :(

I have been planning for years to hire a ferrari, take out some crazy insurance on it, and go for a road trip to the NT and open it up out there. Problem is you had to be 24, I'm 21 now, by the time I'm that age they will probably have a 90 speed limit along there! Makes me angry!

I'm sure that the truckies must be mega pissed off about it too.

They're the f*ckers that cause all the prangs that this decision was based on! Ever followed a road train at 150 klicks? Scary stuff! 8O

Eh, I think that's pretty bullshit... they should be concentrating more on the drink driving and red light running. At 130km/h when it's dark out you're stopping distance is still going to be excessively more then how far you can actually see... may as well have left it unrestricted.
