Post by AJ »

Thanks, AJ.

all of my bulbs are very dim and i cant see them at night (barely, need my eyes to adjust to the dark to be able to see my speed basically)

now how can ALL of the bulbs be so "weak" at the same time? and do i have to repalce them all?

if i do, can u help me out too lol

    dimmer

Look at your dimmer switch. These are added at compliance time. Likely yours is a bit dodgy or the wrong rating

ya I just took mine off cos it was suspect...

you need the holders and you can wire in some wedge bulbs to make it brighter...I need to do my climate control unit but just been lazy..

      Easier

      Post by dstocks »

Easier just to replace the dimmer. Go to a wrecker and pick one you like the look of. A Mitsubishi one would be the best bet as it would be more likely to be rated correctly. Better still measure the current in yours and ill check the one in my FTO and see if they are similar (my lights are fine). Take the multimeter to the wreckers with you.
