Data Logging

Post by Storm »

We are not yet able to remap the stock ECU but do any of you guys have any info on data logging? At the UK OC we are looking into getting an interface cable and using the Mitsulogger freeware to log our data but it will just be as a diagnostic tool at the moment with limited capabilities other than helping us to ensure our cars are running to their best.

Also does anyone have any experience with adding flash memory to ECUs so they can be remapped. I believe the Honda guys might have done this but it might be someone else

I think the problem is that FTO's run an odd ECU and even though it's do able it's quite hard because Honda boys change EPROM chips where as our chips are different to a generic OBD0/1 type ECU

Mines though in Japan does retune the stock ECU
