Had the biggest day yesterday, need to tell yall about it.
Had exam 2 hr exam at 8 in the morn, in which me and mates finished in an hour (cause the stupid fucks make the paper exactly the same as previous year, just change the numbers). So, was at the regatta BY 9 o clock sinking piss. Went to the track all day, got blind, had 20 on pop rock for a place, so I doubled up. Left the races at 6ish, to make my way back to the city, to get ready for U2 concert.
Made it to the concert, just in time, missed support act (Kanye West, who apparently was awesome).
OKAY NOW FOR U2.
U2 was unbelievable, the concert was amazing. The screen they had up, behind them, was massive and state of the art. Bono's voice is still smashing out those songs 30 years latter with ease. He preached quite a bit about Africa, and loving one and another, even put up 1999 number on the screen to raise money for poverty in Africa. To some people he rambled on a little bit about this, which i knida agree, he did. People wanna hear songs at a concert not somone preaching.HOWEVER in my opinion Bono is one of the greatest people ever and a great humanitarian. He's such an inspiration to us all and we can defiantly use a few more of him in this world we live in today.
The crowd was electric, i do not have a voice today (because of races too imagine, im at work at the moment and having to communicate to everyone via email, because they keep raging on me for being everybody's godfather.
Anyways must go, feeling seedy and needing some Panadol.
Good-bye
I’ll leave you with one of Bono’s messages from the concert last night, which i think is a message ALL people around the world need to get into their heads before their will ever be true peace, difficult task i know, maybe even impossible, but with people like Bono, we still have a chance

Re: U2 CONCERT
did u guys hear about how he made his songs? he got shot in the head and while he was in hospital bed for a few months, the tunes and words kept popping up into his head and he made all his songs based on the lyrics that just "magically" appeared into his head.robsta wrote:no big loss there really LOLdimi wrote: Made it to the concert, just in time, missed support act (Kanye West, who apparently was awesome).
