Too many creaks and rattles

Post by rxboy »

Aside from all the rattles from the rear (quarterpanels etc), I now have to contend with a new increasingly annoying creak. When I start to move from a standstill, whether in D or R, there are now a few loud "grinding" noises that seem to be coming from the front. They are only present when I start to move at a slow speed like when I park.

Could this be a problem with the brakes or are the 17x7 wheels I got fitted 3 months ago the culprits?

Yeah it might be the moisture but I'm not 100% sure. It has been raining a lot in Melbourne recently, plus the new rims expose the brakes to rain more than the stock ones.
