Not much to this one, but I like it. Grab a pool ball, drill a hole in it, then stick a bit of teflon tape around the gear shaft to hold it in.
I've got about 10 spare pool balls if anyone wants one

I wonder if you could do it with a Golf Ball... Because it would be slightly smaller then the pool ball... it would be similar to this one:

Lol just found this thread. I did the 8-ball gear stick mod to me old gemini about 5 years ago and it is still on there nice and strong. But i used a tap and die set to thread the hole in the pool ball.
