Just looking at the 65mm 6G74 throttle body, it has a lip that seems somewhat unnecessary on one side of it.
Does anyone know if it hinders airflow and whether it is best smoothed out?

Thanks Daniel.
I know that one of RPW's mod is to smooth it out, but much like what you said I feel that Mitsubishi would've spent more time in R&D and there must be some reason for it being there
