Sand Blasting

I'm having my intake manifold and rocker covers sand blasted this week to remove Lawso's red paint that's impossible to sand off
Is there anything i should be covering up or being wary of when getting this done? I've removed all the bolts and sensors etc off them, do i need to do much else?

This was the part that had me question that ...

And is it actually being sand blasted? Last time I heard, sand blasting had ceased, and they were using something like "media blasting" or soda blasting as sand was excessively used and causing environmental impacts.
In these set-ups, the car can be done anywhere... And was actually what I had done to the Evo/GSR when I had it taken back to bare metal before its new paint job ...

They called it 'abrasive blasting'. Soda blastion was a more expensive option hahaha. It's all good, they had masking options available and masked up everything I needed

Is it done? If so, how much did it set you back?
